Talking French doll with a silk dress

Talking doll with a head made of bisquit (a type of porcelain) and a body and articulated limbs made of composition material. The doll dates back to approximately 1900 and is of French origin. The dress is silk, combined with lace, and there is a cylindrical mechanism at the middle of its back to produce sound. The doll is accompanied by a children’s book of fairy tales by Charles Perrault, published by the French publishing house “Librairie Gamier Fréres”
